Summer Ice Cream

Summer Ice Cream:
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup light cream
1/2 cup milk
2/3 cup Turbinado sugar from Trader Joe’s or Amazon
1 tsp vanilla
dash of salt
Mix all the ingredients together in a large metal bowl. The Turbinado sugar gives it a special touch. It is much more pure than regular sugar. Don’t forget the plastic wrap over the bowl touching the cream in the bottom. Put the bowl with the plastic wrap inside the freezer. Take it out of the freezer once every half an hour for three hours. Stir thoroughly each time. Gradually it will begin to gain texture and consistency. After three hours it should be set. It will make a nice soft serve ice cream cone. If you leave it in the freezer overnight, it will scoop out like hard serve vanilla ice cream from the store, only it will taste much creamier and more gourmet.
